Today we are going to be experimenting with possible add on events in the 3rd Annual Kettlebell Warrior Open. I call this event "The Gauntlet." The event will consist of 5 stations each with two bells. The bell weights will increase as the athlete complete each station. The athlete will need to complete 20 reps of jerk at each station before moving on to the next weight. If the athlete sets down the weight before completing 20 reps, the athlete will be assed a 1 rep penalty. This is done for time. (all stations are double bells)
Standard weight for men:
Station 1. 12kg Station 2. 16kg Station 3. 20kg Station 4. 24kg Station 5. 28kg
Standard weight for women:
Station 1. 8kg Station 2. 10kg Station 3. 12kg Station 4. 14kg Station 5. 16kg
Station 1. 24kg Station 2. 28kg Station 3. 32kg Station 4. 36kg Station 5. 40kg
